<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device having a register protected from rewriting or deleting of data after initialization. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor device comprises a register circuit to which a predetermined value is inputted at the time of initialization, and a protecting means for protecting the register circuit from writing or deleting after initialization.
