PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinder holding device capable of being used in a space with narrow bridge beams and without support floor, and being easily carried. SOLUTION: This device comprises a holding tool 12 holding a disc grinder 11, and an adapter 14 fixed and supported by a structure 4 around a ground article by a fixing part 16 and separably mounting the holding tool 12. The holding tool 12 has: a holder 22 fixing and holding the disc grinder 11 so that a grinding surface of a grinding disc 11a is directed upward; an arm 28 having a handle 26 on one end and fixed to the holder 22 on the other end; a moving part 24 guided and moved in a predetermined direction in parallel to a ground object surface 6 relative to the adapter 14; a shrinkage mechanism 30 interposed between the holder 22 and the moving part 24 and making the holder 22 parallel displacement in vertical direction to the moving part 24; and an inclination mechanism 34 inclining the holder 22 in vertical direction around an axial line perpendicular to the predetermined direction relative to the moving part 24.
