PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermistor having a wide linear temperature range and requiring a small consumption current. SOLUTION: The thermistor has: an insulating substrate 11; at least a pair of electrodes 12a1, 12a2 formed on a surface of this substrate 11; and a thermistor film 13 connected to the electrode formed on the surface of this substrate 11. A thermistor film is made of a thermistor composition having a B constant of 1,500 K to 2,200 K, and is trimmed to form a trimming trench 14. Accordingly, it is possible to provide the thermistor which can be used for a temperature control circuit of a power saving specification having the wide linear temperature range of 70°C or more and requiring a consumption current of 100μA or below.
