PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underfloor heat insulation material arranged under a floor plate, which can smoothly drain water even if the water infiltrates into a gap on the heat insulation material under the floor plate for some reason, to thereby prevent degradation of the performance of the heat insulation material and degradation of the quality of the floor plate, and to provide an underfloor heat insulation structure. SOLUTION: According to the underfloor heat insulation structure, drainage slopes are formed by forming inclined surfaces 12, 12 for draining, on an upper side of the underfloor heat insulation material 10. The underfloor heat insulation material is set in a space defined by a floor substrate 13 and floor joists 14, and even if water infiltrates into the gap on the underfloor heat insulation material, the water flows along the inclined surfaces to be smoothly discharged via a gap between the floor joist on each edge and the heat insulation material itself.
