A mounting structure for a fan and a motor in a refrigerator is provided to improve the efficiency of the motor, to reduce installing space, and to prevent a failure of the motor by precluding exposure of the motor to cold air directly. A mounting structure for a fan and a motor in a refrigerator comprises a fan and a motor(500), a base plate(720) having the fan and the motor, and an orifice plate(740). The orifice plate, which is fixed on the base plate to position the fan and the motor, has an inlet(742) wherein cold air is flowed by the fan. The motor consists of an inner stator and an outer stator rotated in the periphery of the inner stator. The fan includes a groove to place the outer stator on a rotational shaft. An inner case wherein the base plate is mounted has a front cover(210) constituting at least portions of a front surface in the inner case, and a rear cover(220) constituting at least portions of a back surface of the inner case. The base plate is assembled with the front case. The inner case has an insulation material(900).
