<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform recording on a thermosensitive recording medium at a high speed even using a low power laser light source without keeping a part of a record of an already recorded line erased even in low-speed recording. <P>SOLUTION: Scanning units 2-1 to 2-3 respectively including semiconductor laser devices 3-1 to 3-3 and polygon mirrors 4-1 to 4-3 are arranged in a main scanning direction Sm at equal intervals.
