PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical scanning optical apparatus in which the deterioration of resist performance due to the vibration of motors for adjusting exposure position is effectively prevented without impairing print productivity. SOLUTION: The optical scanning optical apparatus is mounted on a color printer of a tandem type electronic photography method. A main scanning synchronization signal detection means 37 is composed of a detection mirror 37a, a condenser lens 37b and a light receiving sensor 37c and mounted in a housing 27. Motors for adjusting skew are mounted in the housing 27 in a line close to the side opposite to the main scanning synchronization signal detection means 37 in a main scanning direction X.
