PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent refrigerant liquid droplet from mixing into a refrigerant gas generated from an evaporator and supplied to a compressor. SOLUTION: When cold water is allowed to flow to a heat transfer pipe 115 disposed in a cylindrical container 114 of the evaporator 112, the refrigerant liquid R is boiled, and the refrigerant gas G is generated. The refrigerant gas G rises in the container 114 while involving the refrigerant liquid droplet. A porous plate 131 covers a liquid level of the refrigerant liquid R, and captures the refrigerant liquid droplet caused by scattering of bubbles generated on the liquid level, thus the refrigerant liquid droplet is prevented from mixing into the refrigerant gas G. As the porous plate 132 prevents unevenness in a flow velocity of the refrigerant gas G, and the uniformized refrigerant gas G passes through a demister 119, the refrigerant liquid droplet included in the refrigerant gas G can be effectively captured/removed by the demister 119. The refrigerant gas G from which the refrigerant liquid droplet is removed, is distributed to the compressor through a refrigerant gas discharge opening 120. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
