PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for drawers, which is miniaturized with a relatively simple structure, has a robust structure and is optimal for locking drawers of a cabinet for storing heavy objects. SOLUTION: A vertically long locking rod 4 is vertically slidably disposed at a side part of a cabinet body 1, and the locking rod is provided with a first locking part 5 and a second locking part 6 projecting to a storage part side of the drawer at positions corresponding to a drawer 2. The side part of each drawer 2 is provided with a first locking part 21 being lockable to the first locking part 5, when the locking rod 4 is at a lowered end and each drawer 2 is at a push-back position. A second locking part 22 which locks the drawing operation of another drawer when one drawer is drawn and the locking rod 4 is raised according to the movement of the drawer, is provided on the side part of each drawer lockable to the second locking part 6. A card type lock 10 is mounted on the upper side part of the cabinet body and an operation lever 12 raisingly operating the locking rod 4 according to the unlocking operation is provided.
