<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, which can optimize rendering to the content of drawing irrespective of capabilities such as the frequency of a CPU and capacity of a memory. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus, which processes a graphics language drawing instruction written in a graphics language and performs drawing, comprises; a parser section 101 for analyzing the graphics language drawing instruction; an interpreter section 102 for processing the graphics language drawing instruction analyzed by the parser section 101 to translate it to an intermediate language; a rendering section 105 for processing the intermediate language translated by the interpreter section 102 to generate image data; and an additional information setting section 103 for setting additional information, included in the graphics language drawing instruction and describing processing correlated with the constitution of the rendering section 105, in the rendering section 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
