PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new acetylene derivative having an HSP90 inhibition activity. SOLUTION: The invention provides an acetylene derivative represented by general formula (1A), (1B) or (1C), a prodrug thereof or a pharmacologically acceptable salt of such an acetylene derivative or a prodrug. Also disclosed is an HSP90 inhibitor which contains any one of them as an active constituent. In the formulas, A is an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or an NR<SP>1</SP>group; X is an optionally substituted methylene group; n is 0-3; Y and Y<SP>c</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkynyl group or the like; and Z is a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl group, an optionally substituted carbon ring or the like.
