A method of engraving and pressing plants or insects on the surface of bricks or tiles is provided to express natural colors and natural shapes on the building. A method of engraving and pressing plants or insects on the surface of bricks or tiles comprises the steps of: preparing plants or insects; pouring yellow soil into a molding frame, placing the plants or the insects onto the yellow soil, and pressing a molded object with depth and appearance of the plants or the used insects; drying the press-molded object by natural drying or by kiln drying; and placing the object into a kiln at 1000-1200 deg.C for firing. Preferably, the plants or the insects are soaked in enamel and dried before being pressed against a brick or a tile. |
