#CMT# #/CMT# The seat has a base (1) connected to a floor pan of a vehicle on which backrest (2) is articulated and is provided with a cushion having a lateral support (3) e.g. central winding, to reduce lateral displacement of a user. The lateral support is movably mounted with respect to the backrest and is pivotally mounted with respect to the cushion. The lateral support has a rotational axis that is arranged perpendicular to a main symmetric axis of the backrest. The support is moved from an initial position to a usage position by a rotational movement along the rotational axis. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Seat for a motor vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The lateral support is movably mounted with respect to the backrest and pivotally mounted with respect to the cushion, thus utilizing the lateral support as an armrest and providing the support with accessories e.g. cup holder, in a body of the support, and hence easily integrating arrangements in a cab interior of a motor vehicle and facilitating additional functions in the seat.
