The flywheel (10) in a motor vehicle transmission, working with a friction clutch, has a radial inner centering unit (50) to hold the mounting shaft of the clutch disk assembly with radial centering. The centering unit is an integral part of the flywheel cover disk (24) and central disk (34). The centering unit has a centering element (52) with a mounting zone for fitting to the flywheel and a central centering opening (66) for the clutch disk mounting shaft.
