METHOD FOR BROADCASTING PROGRAM OF PREFERENCE NOTIFYING SERVICE

A method for providing a preferable broadcast program notification service is provided to enable a broadcasting server to transmit a preferable broadcast program notification message to a broadcasting receiving terminal, thereby enabling the broadcasting receiving terminal to check the start of a broadcast program without a separate operation to reduce the resource and power consumption of the broadcasting receiving terminal. A method for providing a preferable broadcast program notification service comprises steps of: determining whether a notification message for notifying a user of the start of the preferable broadcast program is received from a broadcasting server(400); storing the broadcast program in a memory temporarily(402); determining whether a key for viewing the broadcast program is inputted by a user(404); reproducing the broadcast program stored in the memory temporarily if the key for viewing the broadcast program is inputted by the user(406); determining whether the broadcasting program viewing is completed(408); and deleting the temporarily stored broadcast program(410).
