An apparatus for attaching a polarizer to an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel is provided to decrease a process loss by easily removing a protective film from the polarizer for a PDP(Plasma Display Panel). An apparatus for attaching a polarizer to an LCD panel includes a supply roller(12), a recollecting roller(13), a contact roller(14), and a pressurizing portion for the contact roller(20). The supply roller supplies a new adhesive tape, such that a protective film is removed from the polarizer. The adhesive tape is wound along the circumference of the supply roller. The recollecting roller recollects the used adhesive tape. The contact roller is provided between the supply roller and the recollecting roller, receives the adhesive tape from the supply roller, and presses the adhesive tape against a surface of the protective film. The pressurizing portion moves the contact roller to or from the protective film, such that the contact roller comes in contact with and pressed against the surface of the protect film.
