<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring box which is easy carry out the installation work to a building member so that the end face of the front-face side of a box body becomes flush with the front face of the building material, and can be prevented from becoming an obstacle to a wall material, arranged on the front face of the building material. <P>SOLUTION: The wiring box 11 comprises a locking part 17 having a locking face 17a which is protruded from the box body B so as to separate therefrom, along the direction orthogonal to an installation bearing surface at the front-face side of the box body B, and located on the same plane as the end face of the front-face side of the box body B at the rear face. The locking part 17 is connected to the box body B via a connecting part 16, which connects the locking part 17 and the box body B.
