<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce a consumption amount of sodium hypochlorite, to suppress formation of trihalomethanes, to reduce load applied to an ozone catalytic column, and to suppress apparatus and running costs, in the treatment of combustion exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: This combustion exhaust gas treatment apparatus 1 is provided with: a wet type dust collector 2 collecting water-soluble components in combustion exhaust gas; an ozone forming apparatus 14 forming ozone added to combustion exhaust gas introduced into the wet type dust collector; a sodium hypochlorite forming apparatus 13 forming sodium hypochlorite added to combustion exhaust gas introduced into the wet type dust collector; a catalytic column decomposing and removing NOx and/or residual organic pollutant in the combustion exhaust gas having passed through the dust collector; a solid-liquid separators 6, 7 separating slurry from the dust collector into solid and liquid; a mercury adsorbing column 8 adsorbing mercury in the liquid separated from solid; the ozone catalytic column 9 decomposing trace of dissolved components in the liquid separated from solid; and a circulation route 11 returning wastewater from the mercury adsorbing column and/or ozone catalytic column to the wet type dust collector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
