<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of informing a user that the user forgot to take recording paper and also capable of searching for recording paper which a user forgot to take. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 comprises: an image forming section 3, by which, based on a job for printing image data, the image data and an ID data specific to a user who has instructed to print the image data are recorded on a sheet of recording paper; a paper ejecting means (exemplified by a paper ejection tray 63), which ejects/accumulates sheets of recording paper subjected to recording by the image forming section 3; a reading means 52 for reading the ID data on the recording paper accumulated there; and an informing means, by which, based on the ID data read by the reading means 52, a transmission destination specified by a user corresponding to a job in which the sheet of recording paper has been already removed is informed of the recording paper having been removed from the paper ejection tray 63, and a transmission destination specified to a user corresponding to a job in which the sheet of recording paper has not yet been removed is informed of the recording paper having not yet been removed from the paper ejection tray 63. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
