PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of collecting and removing dust adhered to an air filter by a simple composition without requiring time and effort. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, cleaning work of the air filter 12 is facilitated by arranging the disc shaped air filter 12 between a suction grille 6 provided on a front panel 5 and a heat exchanger 4, providing a tray 13 holding the air filter 12 such that it can freely turn around its center, providing a drive unit 15 driving the air filter 12 via gears 12b formed on an outer circumference part of the air filter 12, providing a suction nozzle 20 sucking in the dust adhered to the air filter 12, and providing a suction device 22 connected to the suction nozzle 20 and having a dust capturing function.
