A method and a method for realizing a PPV(Pay-Per-View) purchase mechanism are provided to assign a view right discriminatingly by realizing a PPV broadcasting program and corresponding system information according to a separate transfer protocol, flexibly operating detail information according to purchase or cancellation of the PPV broadcasting program, and discriminating replay of the selected PPV broadcasting program. A broadcasting station(100) which consists of a broadcasting schedule generator(110), a CW(Control Word) generator(130), a CAS(Conditional Access System)(120), an SMS(Subscriber Management System)(190), a scrambler(140), an ECM(Entitlement Control Message) generator(150), an EMM(Entitlement Management Message) generator(160), a call-back sever(170) and a multiplexer(180) sets system information including available purchase and cancellation times, and a PPV detail transfer time of a PPV broadcasting program, broadcasts the PPV broadcasting program and the system information through the broadcasting network(300), and manages billing and a view right through PPV detail information for each provided PPV broadcasting program. A broadcasting view terminal(200) which consists of a display(220), a descrambler(230), a smart card(140), a mobile communication modem(250) and an internet connection device(260) operates a PPV purchase application based on the PPV broadcasting program and the system information, buys or cancels the PPV broadcasting program in the available purchase/cancellation time of the stored PPV detail information, and updates and transfers the PPV detail information to the broadcasting station through a mobile network(400) or the Internet(500) by processing the view right based on discrimination of replay of the PPV broadcasting program. |
