<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head capable of providing excellent elastic effects to a face. <P>SOLUTION: An apex unit 20 is made of a light material and has a neck part 21. The neck part 21 has a shaft hole 22 for inserting the shaft of the golf club. A bottom unit 30 is disposed below the apex unit 20, and is made of a metal material. A face unit 40 is disposed in front of the apex unit 20 and the bottom unit 30, and is made of an elastic metal material. The face unit 40 has the face 41 and a fence part 42 extending rearward from the face 41 so that the face unit is cup-shaped on the whole. The golf club head also has a projecting part and a recessed groove to be engaged with each other in the joint part between the apex unit 20 and the bottom unit 30, and projecting parts and recessed grooves to be engaged with each other also in the joint parts between the face unit 40 and the apex unit 20 or the bottom unit 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
