摘要 A control device and a controlling method of an inductive sensor for measuring vibration of a rotating body are provided to maintain exact measurement although a portion of the sensor is broken down, by sensing a fault of the inductive sensor and normally measuring vibration of a rotary shaft by using a signal of the rest coil while the detected coil is excluded. In a control device of an inductive sensor(1) for measuring vibration of a rotating body, the inductive sensor is composed of a sensor probe(11) having plural protruded poles(111) installed in a cylinder form around a rotary shaft to measure vibration of the rotary shaft and arranged radially, and a coil(12) wound around the protruded poles. A current detector(2) detects current flowing in the coil of the inductive sensor. A fault detecting controller(3) judges whether the coil is abnormal or not, by comparing the current sensed in the current detector, with preset current. The fault detecting controller controls signal processing of the sensor in order to exclude the signal of the abnormal coil and measure the vibration of the rotary shaft normally by using a signal of the rest coil.
