A method and a system for processing a video call of a termination side are provided to automatically execute a call connection to a base station having an optimum radiowave environment to effectively utilize communication system resources, and improve users' sensory quality of a mobile communication service. A base station(200) is initially connected with a destination video terminal(100) located in a base station overlap area responding to a termination paging generated according to a video call request of an origination video terminal. An additional base station(300) makes the base station overlap area with the destination video terminal. A base station controller(400) generates cell sector data based on radiowave environment information provided from the initially connected base station, receives session information with respect to the destination video terminal from a data location registering unit, a DB that manages termination registration and mobility, allocates one or more additional base stations via the cell sector data and the session information and sets up multi-accessing, and allocates a traffic channel with a base station having a base station signal strength of the highest priority level among the multi-access setup base stations based on radiowave environment information provided after being re-generated.
