A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a solar cell with improved light trap are provided to increase transmittance of light passing a film and a substrate by minimizing optical loss at an interfacial surface. A substrate(3) having a front surface and a rear surface is prepared. A film is positioned on a carrier(2) comprising ethylene copolymer so that the carrier comprising the ethylene copolymer comes in contact with the substrate. The film has at least one crossed fluoro-copolymer layer having a thickness of 75 to 150 nanometers. At least one solar cell(5) is attached to the rear surface of the substrate. The ethylene copolymer comprises Surlyn and Elvax.
