<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow translation work in real time by composing a translation server which includes an original text controller for correcting errors of the original text prior to the translation work and a translation engine capable selecting from a user a translation dictionary to be referred to while translating. <P>SOLUTION: A translation system comprises: a translation server comprising guidelines for creating an original text which serve as criteria for determining existence of errors in the original text, an original text controller for determining whether the original text satisfies the guidelines for creating original text, and a translation engine for translating the original text with reference to at least one from a basic dictionary and a plurality of user dictionaries; a user interface comprising an original text processing part for transmitting the original text to the translation server, a translated text processing part for outputting the translated text received from the translation server and transmitting to the translation server an approval propriety result the corresponding translated text, and a user dictionary editing part for modifying a content of the user dictionary; and a user community server comprising an original text creation method sharing database and a user dictionary sharing database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
