PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disconnection of communication caused by switching antenna groups in communication for each of a plurality of antenna groups comprising two or more antennas. SOLUTION: A base station device 12 has a plurality of antennas 20 and uses a different frequency for at least part of a plurality of antenna groups comprising at least two of the plurality of antennas 20 for communication with each of a plurality of mobile station devices. The base station device 12 includes: a new antenna group determination section 40 for selecting one of the plurality of mobile station devices and determining new antenna groups when changing antenna groups used for communication with the selected mobile station device; a connection maintenance prediction section 36 for predicting whether the connection of the communication can be maintained when the new antenna groups determined by the new antenna group determination section 40 are used for communicating with the selected mobile station device; and an antenna switching control section 42 for determining whether antenna groups are switched according to a result by the connection maintenance prediction section 36.
