PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in a lower end of a conventional dry wall material using a synthetic resin foamed body as a core, rainwater entering the interior of a draining jumps up, and moisture is infiltrated into the synthetic resin foamed body, which can cause risks of rusting of a steel plate of a surface material, and corrosion, degraded heat insulation performance, etc. of the synthetic resin foamed body. SOLUTION: There is provided a method of forming a lower end of a dry wall material, which is implemented by a long corner bead A. The corner bead A is formed of a vertical plane-shaped fixing portion 1, an inclined surface 2 hanging from an upper edge of the fixing portion 1 in a diagonally outward direction, an inclined decorative surface 4 diagonally protruding from a lower edge of the inclined surface 2 in an outward and upward direction, a decorative surface 5 protruding upward from a distal end of the inclined decorative surface 4, and water flowing holes 7 formed at lower edges of the inclined surface 2 and the inclined decorative surface 4, at predetermined intervals. Then the fixing portion 1 is continuously fixed to a sill portion of a wall substrate by fixtures such as nails, and thereafter the lower end of the dry wall material is inserted into a space 8 of the corner bead A defined by the fixing portion 1, the inclined surface 2, the inclined decorative surface 4, and the decorative surface 5, to thereby fix the dry wall material.
