<p>Disclosed are a microneedle device and a method for applying the same. The inventive microneedle device locally deforms highly elastic skin prior to rendering a microneedle to pierce the skin, thereby allowing the skin to be more readily and efficiently pierced. Therefore, the inventive microneedle device can be used in painless drug delivery, extraction of a sample to be analyzed, such as blood, and biopsies.</p> |
