<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light-emitting device and its manufacturing method capable of effectively emitting negative charge carriers, and with a low operation voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A cathode of the organic light-emitting device comprises a first layer 5 of a conductive material and a second layer 4 of a conductive material having a work function of 3.7 ev. at most.
