PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, wherein a savor of a game is improved by making an upstart rate different when game contents can be selected. SOLUTION: The game machine includes a display control board for presenting a plurality of choices to a player, a selection button for having the player select an optional choice, and the display control board for tentatively deriving and displaying a temporary display result after variable display is started in a variable display device and before a display result is derived and displayed, performing the variable display again and deriving and displaying the display result. Several kinds of variable display forms of identification information at the variable display device are included. Compared to a normal short winning which is the variable display form not including the presentation of the choices, a (selection 1) normal short winning which is the variable display form including the presentation of the choices includes the one of a higher upstart rate, which is the rate of deriving and displaying special identification information as the display result after re-variable display when non-special identification information is derived and displayed as the temporary display result.
