PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high capacity air conditioning unit by diverting an existing designed component for a low capacity air conditioning unit. SOLUTION: This frame structure 5 is a frame structure for the high capacity air conditioning unit 2 manufactured by extending prescribed refrigerant circuit components 10, 40 of the low capacity air conditioning unit 202 along a prescribed extension direction, and is provided with lower sideface plates 20a, 22a, and upper sideface plates 20b, 22b. The upper sideface plates 20b, 22b are provided separately from the lower sideface plates 20a, 22a, and are continuous with an extension-directional upper end part of the lower sideface plates 20a, 22a.
