摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit capable of shortening an oscillation start-up time by restraining disturbance in the oscillation of an oscillator to the minimum to start up efficiently the oscillation, a physical quantity measuring instrument and electronic equipment using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This drive unit for exciting the oscillator with drive vibration by forming an oscillation loop with the oscillator, when measuring a physical quantity using an output signal with a synchronization-detected detection signal output from the oscillator, based on the exciting drive vibration onto the oscillator and the physical quantity to be measured, includes a current-voltage converter for converting a current flowing in the oscillator into a voltage, a gain control amplifier for controlling an oscillation amplitude in the oscillation loop to excite the oscillator with the drive vibration, and a bypass filter provided between the current-voltage converter and the gain control amplifier in the oscillation loop, a reference potential of the bypass filter is changed to excite the oscillator with the drive vibration, and the reference potential is thereafter fixed to excite the oscillator with the drive vibration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
