PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of keeping excitement and enjoyment of a game by preventing the game from becoming monotonous. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with: a random number generator for generating a random number in a prescribed cycle; a start switch 6S for outputting a game start command signal for commanding the start of a unit game; a sampling circuit 37 for extracting the random number generated by the random number generator on condition that the game start command signal is detected; a symbol varying means for varying symbol displayed by reels 3L, 3C and 3R on condition that the game start command signal is detected; and a winning combination determining means for determining at least one winning combination from a plurality of predetermined winning combinations on the basis of the random number extracted by the sampling circuit 37. The game machine is further provided with: a game time integrating means for integrating game time during which the unit game is performed; and a random number generation cycle changing means for changing the cycle of the random number generator in accordance with the game time integrated by the game time integrating means.
