The invention relates to a cooking domestic appliance comprising a motor housing (1) with a pedestal (11) for receiving a working vessel (2), the working vessel (2) including an envelope (20) located above a base (21) supporting a rotating tool (4) to be driven by said motor housing (1), said base (5) being adapted for engagement on said reception pedestal(11) by a simple translation movement, wherein said motor housing (1) includes a safety control (5) that is brought back in a rest position by return means (6) and moved into an active position by an actuation member (22) supported by the working vessel (2), characterised in that said pedestal (11) or said vessel (2) includes elastic locking means (8, 80) respectively co-operating with said vessel (2) or pedestal (11) for generating a locking force that is sufficient for axially blocking the vessel (2) on the pedestal (11) against the force generated by the return means (6) of the safety control (5).
