PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creepage distance calculation device, a creepage distance calculation method and a program, capable of obtaining a creepage distance of higher accuracy in a shorter time. SOLUTION: In steps S4-S7, partial improvement of an initial path obtained in step S3 is repeated to searchingly obtain a shorter path. For example, in steps S4, S5, a strict shortest path connecting a start point and an end point of a partial path is obtained by using a local development face of the partial path, and the shorter path is obtained by replacing the partial path with the shortest path. As a result, a path on each component can be gradually shortened. The step S6 is a step necessary for an assembly comprising the plurality of components, and the shorter path is calculated by further shortening the partial path of a portion connecting the paths on the respective components of a search path to the assembly.
