<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform a response to natural languages, such as Japanese which have various topographies, such as a complex sentence or an inversion representation, etc., which people use naturally in conversation. <P>SOLUTION: In the natural language input by an input means 1-1, a part of text is used for sorting class. The above input is classified into at least one sorting class by a first sorting means 1-2. If a predetermined sorting class in at least one sorting class is registered in an action memory means 1-4, a response acquisition means 1-3 acquires a predetermined process from the action memory means 1-4, performs the predetermined process and acquires response information. If it is not registered in the action memory means 1-4, the corresponding response information is acquired without response.
