<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent tips on a wedge member side of coil springs from being deformed into contact with the inner peripheral surface of an outer ring by centrifugal force. <P>SOLUTION: A one-way clutch 10 has engagement rollers 5 arranged between the inner peripheral engagement surface 1a of a pulley 1 and the cam surface 2a of a hollow shaft 2 and biased by the coil springs 4. The coil spring 4 is tapered towards a side for abutment with the engagement roller 5, have an increased spring constant and reduced mass, and is increased in a clearance between the tip of the coil spring 4 and the inner peripheral engagement surface 1a of the pulley 1. The coil spring 4 is prevented from being deformed into contact with the inner peripheral surface 1a of the pulley 1 by centrifugal force and causing abrasion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
