<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber for rubber reinforcing having a covering layer with preferable adhesive strength in the adhesion of a glass fiber cord with the rubber, sustaining the initial strength of the adhesion of the covering layer in a long-time use when used for a heat-resistant belt, and having excellent dimensional stability. <P>SOLUTION: The glass fiber for rubber reinforcing is obtained by forming the covering layer by coating a glass fiber cord with a coating liquid for covering the glass fiber, obtained by mixing an emulsion of an acrylic ester-based resin, an aqueous solution of a monohydroxybenzene-formaldehyde condensate and an emulsion of a vinylpyridine-styrene-butadiene copolymer, and drying the coated product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
