A pedal simulator of an electric brake system is provided to reduce the number of elements and to reduce a manufacturing cost by separating operating diagram as idle stroke and cushion rubber reaction force range, cushion rubber and magnetic reaction force range. A pedal simulator of an electric brake system comprises a cylinder(20), a piston(30), a first magnetic plate(40), a second magnetic plate(60), a cushion rubber(50), and a coil spring(70). The cylinder is fixed to a vehicle body located at rear part of a brake pedal(10) through a fixing bracket. The piston is installed at a front part of inside of the cylinder and contacted with the brake pedal through a connection rod(31). The first magnetic plate is installed at center of the inner part of the cylinder. The second magnetic plate is installed at the rear part of inside of the cylinder. The polarity of a front unit of the second magnetic plate has the same polarity of a rear end of the first magnetic plate. The cushion rubber is placed between the first and the second magnetic plates. The coil spring is located between the piston and the first magnetic plate, and forms an idle stroke(S) between a front end of the first magnetic plate and a rear end of the piston. |
