<p>The compressible seal has a clamping device and a filling body (1) made of an elastic deformable material, which is pressed in a direction by the clamping device for producing a sealed attachment. The clamping device abuts on a pressing surface on the filling body. The filling body has a notch (6) between the allocation surface and its facing pressing surface. The depth of the notch, in the direction of the conductor, amounts particularly to maximum 50 percent preferably 40 percent or 30 percent of the total extent of the filling body in conductor direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for sealing a cable bushing through a wall.</p> |
