<p>A wood-blind and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to produce the wood-blind printed with an optional pattern and having higher quality by utilizing waste wood pieces. A method for manufacturing a wood-blind using waste wood pieces comprises the processes of: polishing a wood piece(1,2) in a predetermined thickness; cutting two wood pieces to form an engagement portion of a predetermined shape for combination; adding an adhesive to the engagement portion; combining the two wood pieces in a longitudinal direction; and applying a mixture of a plaster powder and an adhesive to the surface of the combined wood pieces to remove a trace of the engagement portion. The obtained wood-blind is optionally printed with a desired pattern on the surface thereof by primary coating(undercoating) with a background color, secondary coating with a desired pattern, and third coating(top coating) for protection from abrasion or scratch.</p> |
