The method involves connecting measuring sensor to movable parallel limb (12,112) of dynamometer. A position sensor (21,28) determines deflection of coil (25,125) via which electric current (24) flows, caused by application of load to movable parallel limb, from adjusted position with respect to magnet system. A functionality of dynamometer is determined on basis of comparison, and action of dynamometer is carried out. A magnitude of electrical current and magnitude of deflection of coil from the adjusted position is used to check the functionality of dynamometer. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a dynamometer; and (2) a computerized program for checking operability of dynamometer. |
