An engine using an electromagnetic piston is provided to generate driving force by rotating a crank shaft by reciprocating the piston up and down, thereby solving various bad effects occurring in the existing engine using fossil fuel. An engine using an electromagnetic piston(200) includes a permanent magnet(210), an electro-magnet(120), a position sensor(610), and a position sensor(620). An S pole is formed at an upper side on a top surface of the piston. An N pole is formed at a lower side on the top surface of the piston. The electro-magnet is installed on an inner top surface of a bore(110) so that the piston reaching a top dead center is pushed by the repetition of conduction and short-circuit by a control unit(500). The position sensor is installed at an upper side on an inner surface of the bore. The position sensor senses the top dead center of the piston and transmits the sensed signal to the control unit so as to form the S pole by conducting the electro-magnet. |
