A unitary water pressure forming roof support pillar is provided to improve exterior appearance and to improve strength of the roof without increasing weight of a vehicle. A roof supporting assembly for a vehicle comprises a roof rail(12), a rocker panel, and a B-pillar(10). The hollow B-pillar has an inner wall, an outer wall, a front wall, a rear wall, pipe-shaped lower section, and an upper section. The lower section of the B-pillar is extended upward from the rocker panel. The upper section is extended downward from the roof rail. The upper section is shaped as a convergent pipe by the inner, outer, front and the rear walls. The convergent pipe section has a front and a back flange(36,38) extended from the front and the rear walls horizontally. The upper end of the convergent pipe section is finished at the roof rail flange which has the inner wall and the outer wall and being assembled to an outer surface and an upper surface of the roof rail.
