A 7-speed power train of an automatic transmission of a vehicle is provided to realize simple and composite planetary gear sets by using four clutches and two brakes. A 7-speed power train of an automatic transmission of a vehicle includes a first planetary gear set(PG1), a second planetary gear set(PG2), and plural friction elements. The first planetary gear set is a composite planetary gear set and outputs a changed speed through three intermediate output paths. The second planetary gear set is a simple planetary gear set and receives the rotation power from the intermediate output path of the first planetary gear set through four intermediate input paths. The second planetary gear set changes a speed of the rotation power and outputs the changed speed through a final output path. The friction elements couple operation elements in the first and second planetary gear sets with each other and couple the operation elements with a transmission housing.
