A lawn growing apparatus is provided to dispense with a separate device for opening/shutting a water outlet and enhance the work efficiency. A lawn growing apparatus(10) comprises: a seedling box(30) which has a plurality of pierced holes(30a); a main body(20) which has a seedling box installation part(23) and a water supply/discharge part(27); a spray nozzle(40) which is passed through one side wall of the water supply/discharge part and sprays water horizontally at high speed; a water outlet(60) which is installed at the bottom of the water supply/discharge part and drains water; and a water tank(70) which stores the water to be supplied to the spray nozzle and discharged from the water outlet. The flow passage of the water outlet is allowed to be opened/closed by the Venturi effect of the water sprayed by the spray nozzle. The water outlet is placed below the end part of the spray nozzle, and the difference between water outlet pressure and air pressure is greater than water pressure.
