An apparatus and a method for offering detailed information of broadcasting contents through Internet and a method for requesting the detailed information of broadcasting contents at a receiving terminal according to the apparatus and the method are provided to transmit the corresponding detailed information to a user's E-mail address through the Internet. A detailed information processing member(131) obtains the detailed information by means of the detailed information descriptor according to the detailed information request of a user terminal received the broadcasting contents from a broadcasting station. A detailed information transmission member(132) transmits the obtained detailed information to the user's E-mail address through the Internet. A detailed information storing member(14) stores the detailed information related to the detailed information request of the user terminal. The detailed information processing member obtains the detailed information corresponding to the detailed information descriptor from the detailed information storing member. The detailed information processing member also obtains the detailed information by means of the detailed information descriptor.
