A door lock device is provided to prevent a door from being locked due to malfunction of a safety knob when the door is open by restraining a connection lever from being converted from a pivoting state into a locking state. A door lock device comprises a door latch(10) hinged to a mounting bracket, a connection lever(20) coaxially installed on the door latch to convert the door latch into a locking state or unlocking state according to the operation of a safety knob and a key cylinder, and a pivoting lever(30) to pivot the door latch in an unlocking direction. The door latch is formed with a protrusion(12) extending to the connection lever. The connection lever is provided with a locking stud(22), which makes contact with the protrusion when the door latch is unlocked and prevents the connection lever from being converted into the locking state.
