摘要 A gas generator is provided to generate a mixed gas of hydrogen and oxygen in a highly efficient manner by simplifying structure of the gas generator, thereby increasing electrolysis efficiency, and separately store the generated hydrogen and oxygen. A gas generator comprises: a water feeder(10) for feeding water; an electrolyzer(20) which is made of a lead(Pb) plate, into which water is fed by the water feeder to electrolyze the water, and to which a negative voltage is applied; a plurality of positive electrode plates(30) made from lead dioxide(PbO2) and a plurality of negative electrode plates(40) made from lead(Pb) which are alternately installed and spaced from one another within the electrolyzer, and to which an electric current is applied to generate hydrogen and oxygen by oxidation and reduction reactions; a positive electrode grounding terminal(50) and a negative electrode grounding terminal(60) which connect the positive electrode plates and the negative electrode plates in parallel, and which are installed on an outer portion of the electrolyzer; separators(70) which are interposed between the positive electrode plates and the negative electrode plates, which electrically connect the positive electrode plates and the negative electrode plates by passing an electrolyte and ions, and which divide passages of the generated hydrogen and oxygen; a mixed gas outlet(80) installed on the electrolyzer to exhaust a mixed gas of the hydrogen and oxygen that have been generated in the electrolyzer; and a mixed gas storage vessel(90) for storing the mixed gas that has been exhausted through the mixed gas outlet.
